Allscore To Release Unreleased Franco Movie Soundtracks
Jun 30th, 2008 by Tim Fife
The German label Allscore, known for releasing the Mondo Morricone and Edgar Wallace film music compilations, is working on issuing a compilation of Gerhard Heinz tracks from three Jess Franco films.
Set to be included are tunes from Wicked Memoirs of Eugenie (1981), Linda (1981), and Bloody Moon (1981). Heinz was famous for his scores for erotic films in Germany and did the music for the Christina Lindberg Schoolgirl Report movie as well as movies with such winning titles as Gentle But Sassy Like Oskar, Dracula Blows His Cool, and Hot Dogs of Ibiza.
The CD is still in its planning stages, but the label says they have already secured liner notes by Linda star Katja Bienert and they have the licenses for all of the music. They are planning on it being released this year.
If you’re interested in hearing some of Heinz’s work, the German label Diggler released a great compilation of his work called “Melodies in Love-The Erotic World of Gerhard Heinz.”
